Project:

This website design was created as an event portal for the Bendigo International Madison cycling event. The Madison draws athletes from around the globe and is arguably the largest cycling and athletic event in Australia.

Information on the website had to be easy to update and maintain. This was achieved by building the website design around a Content Management System (CMS) Framework. The CMS Framework allows our client to easily manage the news, photo gallery and page content areas of the website without assistance.

A viral marketing concept in the form of an ePostcard was introduced as a mechanism to increase traffic flows by leveraging each visitor to the website. Visitors can build and send an electronic postcard by using the ePostcard tool which then draws the recipient back to the website.

The website design was optimised for the major search engines giving it maximum exposure to all of its relevant keywords. Website statistics analysis was preformed during event marketing activities allowing SASI Marketing to accurately measure the success of the marketing efforts.

Dynamic Page Content

The CMS Framework was integrated into the website design to allow staff to update all page content within the website at their convenience.

Dynamic News

CMS Framework integration allows staff to update the news section of the website keeping visitor’s informed of late breaking news.

Photo Gallery

A photo gallery was integrated into the website design to allow staff to manage a set of images to be displayed within the website.

ePostcard

The website design includes an ePostcard feature that creates a unique medium for users to communicate with their friends and family. It also generates new traffic to the website.
